Radena attaches great importance to the privacy of its customers and participants. We process only those personal data that are necessary for the proper execution and improvement of our services. All information collected in the context of the use of our website, webshop and ateliers is handled with due care and confidentiality. Personal data are never made available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Radena website and to all services offered through it, including the sale of handmade products and the organisation of live and online ateliers. This Privacy Policy has been in force since 25 May 2018. Upon publication of a new version, all previous versions shall become null and void.

This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect, for what purposes such data are used, with whom and under which conditions such data may be shared, how we store and protect your data, and which rights you have in relation to your personal data.

Below we explain how Radena processes personal data, where such data are stored, which security measures are applied, and who has access to the data.

 

Purpose of Data Processing

General

Radena processes personal data exclusively within the scope of its services. This means that processing is always directly related to:

  • the sale and delivery of handmade products;

  • the organisation and execution of live and online ateliers;

  • customer administration and communication;

  • administrative and accounting obligations.

The data are used to process and fulfil enquiries, orders and registrations in an efficient, accurate and customer-friendly manner.

Personal data are only shared with third parties where this is necessary to comply with administrative, accounting or legal obligations. Such third parties are contractually or legally bound by confidentiality obligations.

 

Processed data provided by you

Radena may process the following personal data:

  • first and last name;

  • address details;

  • telephone number;

  • email address;

  • name of the purchaser and/or participant in an atelier (where applicable).

Only data that are relevant to the specific service or order are retained.

Automatically Collected Data

Certain technical data are automatically collected via the website in order to improve its functionality and user experience. This includes, among other things, IP address, browser type and operating system. These data are not considered personal data.

Images and Social Media

During live ateliers or photographic sessions, images may be taken and used for communication and promotional purposes on the Radena website and on social media platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram). Participants who object to the use of such images may notify Radena in advance or afterwards via info@radena.be.

 

Data Retention Periods

Radena stores personal data securely and no longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, or as long as required by law. Visual material is:

  • actively retained for a maximum period of 4 months;

  • subsequently archived;

  • and permanently deleted after a maximum period of 1 year, unless otherwise agreed.

Your Rights

You always have the right to:

  • access your personal data;

  • have your data corrected or supplemented;

  • request deletion of your data, insofar as legally permitted.

Requests may be submitted in writing or by email to Hilde Denayer at info@radena.be. You will receive a response within a maximum period of 30 days.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Radena uses cookies to improve the functionality of the website. Cookies from Google are placed via the website as part of the Google Analytics service, which helps us understand how visitors use the website.

Radena has not authorised Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services. Google may be required to disclose this information to competent authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Where third-party software solutions make use of cookies, this will be stated in this Privacy Policy or in a separate cookie statement.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy

Radena reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The most recent version will always be published on this page. If changes affect the processing of personal data already collected, the individuals concerned will be informed by email.
